To close an account we will need just one person on the account to request the closing. This can be done by calling our Customer Service Center at 616-887-7366 or coming into the branch.
If you choose to close by calling our Customer Service Center we can transfer the funds into another account you hold with us, or we can send them in form of a cashiers check.
If you would like cash in hand at the time of closing that will have to be done in the branch.

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial Banks to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you:
When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We must also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
