ChoiceOne Announces Internal Promotions

Sparta, Michigan – January 24, 2017 

The Board of Directors of ChoiceOne Bank recently announced the promotions of Adom Greenland, Jennifer Bellamy, Gary Hall, Josh Hucul, Todd LaVictoire, and Jason Parker.

“It is a great honor for me to announce these promotions in our bank,” explained ChoiceOne Bank President and CEO Kelly Potes. “As we continue to grow and expand our community bank franchise throughout West Michigan, it is necessary for us to increase our levels of expertise, due diligence and customer service in all we do, and these folks do this exceptionally well.”

Adom Greenland is promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer. He joined ChoiceOne Bank in 2013 as Vice President of Operations and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Retail and Information Technology in 2015.  

Before joining ChoiceOne Bank, Greenland served as a certified public accountant (CPA) with PricewaterhouseCoopers for 10 years, which included spending two years with the company’s UK operation in London, England. Greenland holds both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Accounting from Michigan State University.

Jennifer Bellamy is promoted to Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. She joined the bank in 2002 as a teller and progressed through the ranks to a Commercial Loan Officer in 2012. Bellamy has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & General Management Marketing from Grand Valley State University.

Gary Hall is promoted to Vice President, Mortgage Sales Manager. He joined ChoiceOne Bank in 2011 as Mortgage Sales Manager and was promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2014. Hall has over 20 years of mortgage origination experience. He has his Bachelor of Business Administration from Aquinas College and is registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS).

Josh Hucul is promoted to Vice President, Credit Department Manager. He joined the bank in 2012 as a credit analyst and was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Credit Manager in 2013. With nine years of banking experience overseeing credit quality, Hucul has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Saginaw Valley State University.

Todd LaVictoire is promoted to Vice President, Controller. Before joining ChoiceOne Bank in 2016 as Assistant Vice President, Controller, LaVictoire was a Senior Business Analyst in Global Audit with Steelcase, Inc. where he worked on projects all over the world including China, Hong Kong, Germany, and other domestic locations. Prior to that, he worked in the financial services group at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Assurance Senior. LaVictoire has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science in Accounting from Michigan State University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Jason Parker is promoted to Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. Returning to ChoiceOne Bank in 2013 as Assistant Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer, Parker has over 15 years of banking experience. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Western Michigan University and a bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University.
