ChoiceOne Financial Services, Inc., and ChoiceOne Bank (NASDAQ: COFS) ("ChoiceOne") are pleased to announce that the 2026 Change for Kids Campaign raised $39,000 through generous customer donations and a contribution from the Bank. Change for Kids is a community initiative that supports schools serving low- to moderate-income students and families across Michigan.
The 2026 Change for Kids Campaign invited customers and community members to donate their spare change at any ChoiceOne branch. As a result of this year's campaign and a large contribution from the Bank, 39 partner schools will each receive a $1,000 donation, with checks presented throughout September and October.
"We always look forward to the Change for Kids Campaign because it's a simple way for our customers, employees and communities to come together and make a meaningful difference," said ChoiceOne Senior Vice President Stacey Webb. "Every donation, no matter the size, helps provide essential resources and support for local students. The $39,000 raised this year reflects both the generosity of our customers and ChoiceOne's commitment to investing in the communities we serve."
Since the program began in 2011, Change for Kids has donated $389,768 to partner schools. Funds raised each year are combined and distributed to participating schools, allowing the program to make a greater impact for students and families facing financial challenges.
Over the years, Change for Kids has helped schools establish student care closets and school stores stocked with personal care items, purchase eyeglasses for students in need, and even provide beds so children have a safe and comfortable place to sleep.
