Athlete of the Week is an initiative coordinated by Athletic Directors at School Districts within our central market. The program recognizes student-athletes who have exhibited exceptional performance, leadership, and sportsmanship during the week. The commitment and positive approach demonstrated by the selected students provide a model for their peers. Weekly, representatives from Hartland, Holly, Lake Fenton, Linden, and Fenton gather to vote on the top athlete in each sport. ChoiceOne Bank is honored to sponsor this enduring tradition, which has highlighted the achievements and dedication of student-athletes for more than thirty years.

At the start of the 2026 season, she has already made an impact with over 10 draw controls, setting the tone early for another outstanding year. While her talent on the field is undeniable, her success is not simply a result of natural ability. It is driven by her relentless dedication, grit, and genuine love for the sport. Mady can often be found outside of practice, putting in extra time to refine her stick skills, shooting, conditioning and draw controls—always striving to improve. Her growth as a player is evident in her performance. At the end of the 2024 season, Mady recorded 75 ground balls, 19 caused turnovers, 30 draw controls, 7 goals, and 2 assists.
