Kevin Kelling - Mortgage Loan Originator – West Market
Kelling returns to ChoiceOne with nearly 30 years of experience in mortgage banking. His extensive background has helped him guide customers successfully through buying, building and refinancing residential homes. Customers appreciate the expertise he brings when dealing with something as financially important and personal as a home mortgage.
Kelling earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa. He also graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Kelling serves the community through his involvement with the Rotary Club of Grand Rapids and Guys Who Give – Kent County.

Chelsea Knott - Community Development Officer - West Market
Knott joins ChoiceOne with over 12 years of social work and nonprofit experience supporting local initiatives focused on affordable housing and community services for diverse, underserved families and individuals. She began her career with Arbor Circle in Grand Rapids as a Family Support Worker and a Parenting Nurturing Program Coordinator. She spent the last five years at ICCF Community Homes in Grand Rapids, with her most recent position as a Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinator, where she provided case management and facilitated financial literacy classes.
Knott holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Grand Valley State University, Allendale, and is a HUD (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) Certified Housing Counselor. She is an active volunteer for VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) via the Kent County Tax Coalition and serves as a Council Member for the Women of Habitat Kent (WOHK), part of Habitat for Humanity of Kent County.

Joell Maddox – Vice President Treasury Management Officer - Central Market
Maddox joins ChoiceOne with over 15 years of expertise in Treasury Management, business development, client acquisition, and risk mitigation across a wide range of banking sectors. Maddox attended the SW Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University (SWGSB), Dallas, Texas. She earned the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation through the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). She also studied Liberal Arts at Schoolcraft College, Livonia. Maddox is a supporter of local animal rescues and Howell Nature Center. She was previously a volunteer for Metro Relief Homeless Outreach and Habitat for Humanity.

Chaz Pray - Mortgage Loan Originator - Central Market
Pray joins ChoiceOne with over 17 years of banking experience with several regional financial institutions. He began his financial career as a personal banker, moving into Branch Management and then to his most current position as Mortgage Originator. His overall financial expertise helps Pray deliver excellent service while assisting current and new customers with their home mortgages when they are ready to purchase or refinance, as well as using their home equity for home improvement and other household expenses.
Pray has his Credit Counseling Certificate through the National Association of Certified Credit Counselors (NACCC). Active in his community, Pray volunteers with My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) of Genesee County, the Suski Chevrolet Foundation to support the Birch Run community and Catholic Charity food drives in Flint and Owosso.

Michelle Tomandl - Vice President Wealth Advisor - Central Market
Tomandl joins ChoiceOne with over 27 years of banking experience. She began her career as a Personal Banker progressing to Business Bank Branch Manager, and most recently to a Private Bank Wealth Advisor with a regional bank where she managed a portfolio of high value consumer and business customers.
Tomandl is an active volunteer with the United Way of Saginaw County and past Board Member. She is also active in Junior Achievement volunteering at Weiss Elementary School, Arthur Eddy Academy and Kempton Elementary. Tomandl is a member of the networking group of professionals with the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce and a member of the networking group of professionals with the Midland Business Alliance/Leadership Midland. Tomandl studied Business Management at Delta College, Bay City, and has her Michigan Life and Health Insurance License through A.D. Banker & Company.
