ChoiceOne Bank Promotes Kelly Andry, Christopher Dickinson, Melissa Hopkins, Kevin Smith, Dave Stahl; Welcomes Liz Shoemaker, Rossi Fifelski

ChoiceOne Financial Services, Inc., and ChoiceOne Bank (NASDAQ: COFS) (“ChoiceOne”) are pleased to announce the promotions of Kelly Andry, Christopher Dickinson, Melissa Hopkins, Kevin Smith and Dave Stahl; and welcome Liz Shoemaker, Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer and Rossi Fifelski, Grand Rapids Branch Manager.

Kelly Andry is promoted to Assistant Vice President, Credit Analyst Team Lead – West Market

Andry began her career with ChoiceOne 11 years ago as a Credit Analyst. She was promoted to Senior Credit Analyst II/ Team Lead in 2020. Andry has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University, East Lansing. She is also Credit Risk Certified (CRC) through the Risk Management Association (RMA).

Active in her community, Andry volunteers with Hand2Hand, which packs weekend meals for West Michigan students. She also volunteers with the Goodwill Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program preparing income taxes for individuals who meet income and eligibility criteria.

Christopher Dickinson is promoted to Assistant Vice President, Credit Analyst Team Lead – Central Market

Dickinson joined ChoiceOne Bank as Credit Analyst II/Senior Credit Analyst in 2016 with more than five years of commercial credit experience at two other financial institutions. He was promoted to Credit Manager in 2019. Dickinson has a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Accountancy from Saginaw Valley State University, University Center. He is also a graduate of the Michigan Bankers Association (MBA) Perry School of Banking and Commercial Lending School. Dickinson has been active in the Foodbank of Eastern Michigan.

Melissa Hopkins is promoted to Assistant Vice President, Credit Analyst Team Lead – East Market

Hopkins joined ChoiceOne 29 years ago as a Teller. Over her career with ChoiceOne, she has held many key roles including Mortgage Processor, Underwriter, Processing Department Manager, Mortgage Originator and Small Business Lender. In 2016, Hopkins moved to a Credit Analyst and was promoted to Credit Analyst Team Lead for the East Market in 2022.

Hopkins has an Associate in Business Management from Baker College, Port Huron. She is a graduate of the Michigan Bankers Association (MBA) Perry School of Banking and the Community Bankers of Michigan (CBM) Emerging Leaders Program. Hopkins is also Credit Risk Certified (CRC) through the Risk Management Association (RMA). Active in her community, Hopkins has been the Treasurer of the Mussey Township Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary for 28 years.

Kevin Smith is promoted to Assistant Vice President, Credit Analyst Team Lead – West Market

Smith joined ChoiceOne in 2021 as a Senior Credit Analyst. He was promoted to Senior Credit Analyst II/Credit Team Lead Officer – West Market in 2024. Before joining ChoiceOne, Smith worked as Credit Analyst and Senior Credit Analyst for two regional banks in West Michigan. A graduate of Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Smith has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management.

Dave Stahl is promoted to Assistant Vice President – Private Banker – Central and East Markets

Stahl joined ChoiceOne in 2023 as Grand Rapids Branch Manager and Officer. He has worked for both community and regional banks for nearly 20 years and has leveraged that experience into his Private Bank role. As a Private Banker within ChoiceOne Wealth Management, Stahl delivers “white glove” service to high‐net‐worth clients and provides an array of exclusive deposit and lending offerings to clients in both ChoiceOne’s East and West Michigan markets.

Stahl has a Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurship with a minor in Management from Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant. He is also a volunteer with First Tee – West Michigan, Grand Rapids, which empowers kids and teens through the game of golf.

Liz Shoemaker, Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer – West Market

Shoemaker has joined ChoiceOne with 13 years of experience in retail and business banking at a regional bank. Most recently, she was a Business Banking Relationship Manager. Shoemaker has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo.

Active in her community, Shoemaker sits on the board of directors for The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Holland and is active on their R&D and Governance Committees. She is also a Connect Group Leader for Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce. Shoemaker has previously volunteered with Holland Tulip Time and was on a Community Impact Committee for the Greater Ottawa County United Way.

Rossi Fifelski, Grand Rapids Branch Manager – West Market

Fifelski has joined ChoiceOne as an accomplished Branch Manager with more than nine years of experience in the banking industry. Fifelski began her career as a Personal Banker and has worked for several regional banks with an emphasis on customer relationships. She has held her NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) since 2016. Fifelski is continuing her business education at Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Kalamazoo.
