Caroline (Carrie) Brennan, SPHR, is promoted to Assistant Vice President Human Resources Officer
Carrie Brennan joined ChoiceOne as a Human Resources professional in 2025 with over 12 Years of progressive human resources experience working with several companies in West Michigan and Indiana. Brennan has a Bachelor of Science in Merchandising Management from Michigan State University, East Lansing. She also has her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI®), headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.

Adam Bogdanowicz is promoted to Vice President, Network Support
Adam Bogdanowicz joined ChoiceOne in 2011 as a Network Technician. He progressed in his career to Senior Network Analyst and his most recent position as Assistant Vice President Network Support. Prior to joining ChoiceOne, Bogdanowicz worked in Information Technology at a local financial institution. Bogdanowicz holds an Associate Degree in Computer Science from Baker College of Flint and is a Foxtrot Certified Expert. He also completed the Advanced Leadership Program through the Community Bankers of Michigan (CBM). In addition to professional leadership responsibilities, Bogdanowicz is actively engaged in community service. He is a volunteer at the Flint Food Bank and with Swartz Creek Community Schools, assisting both sideline and competitive cheer teams.

Kyle Carson is promoted to Officer, Financial Advisor – West Market
Kyle Carson began his career with ChoiceOne in 2021 as an intern and quickly transitioned to a part-time Teller while finishing his college education. After graduation in 2022, Carson was promoted to Universal Banker in the Grand Rapids Branch office. In early 2025, he joined the Wealth Management team in Sparta as an Associate Financial Advisor and in July moved to the Holland Branch office as a Financial Advisor. Carson earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a major in Finance from Grand Valley State University (GVSU), Allendale. He has his SIE, Series 66 and Series 7 licenses. Giving back to his community, Carson volunteers as a coach for First Tee West Michigan.

Cassandra Chaffee, is promoted to Officer, Branch Coordinator – West Market
Cassandra Chaffee joined ChoiceOne in 2004 as a part-time Teller and moved into a full-time role as a Universal Banker in 2014 in the Cedar Springs Branch office. Chaffee later transferred to Branch Coordinator in 2018.

Nichole Down is promoted to Assistant Vice President, ITM Center Manager – Central and West Markets
Nichole Down joined ChoiceOne in 2005 as a part-time Teller and progressed in her career over the years to full-time Teller, Personal Banker, Community Office Supervisor, Assistant Branch Manager and ITM Center / GBS Manager. In 2025 she was promoted to ITM Center Manager where she continues to lead a team of Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) specialists to ensure seamless daily operations.

Theresa Hicks is promoted to Officer, Branch Coordinator – East Market
Theresa Hicks joined ChoiceOne in 2006 as a Teller. She was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager of the Imlay Branch office in 2014. In 2021, Hicks moved into the position of Branch Coordinator located in the Lapeer Downtown Branch. Prior to joining ChoiceOne, Hicks owned an in-home daycare for 12 years. Hicks has her Branch Manager Certification from the Michigan Bankers Association. She is actively involved in her church’s outreach efforts, especially through the food pantry and gas‑giveaway events.

Kara Lambourn, Assistant Vice President, Administrative Officer & Executive Assistant
Kara Lambourn joined ChoiceOne in 2019 as Executive Assistant. She was promoted to Administrative Officer and Executive Assistant in 2021. Prior to joining ChoiceOne, Lambourn was the lead graphic designer and assisted in day-to-day operations for a local print, design and direct mail company for nearly 25 years. Lambourn has a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration and an Associate in Medical Billing from Davenport University, Grand Rapids.
Active in her community, Lambourn is a member and Board Secretary for the Kiwanis Club of Lapeer where she is leading the planning and fundraising for a new $1.5 million All-Inclusive Playground in Lapeer. She is involved in many of the Club’s annual fundraising events and Chairs the Rubber Duck Dash. She also volunteers for many other activities and events in Lapeer County.

Olivia Phillips, CFP®, is promoted to Officer, Financial Advisor – East Market
Olivia Phillips began her banking career with ChoiceOne as an intern in May 2021 and quickly advanced to a Universal Banker in October 2021. She joined the Wealth Management team as an intern in 2022 and was promoted to Wealth Advisor in 2023.
Phillips recently earned her Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) Certificate. A CFP® professional refers to the certification owned and awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. The CFP® designation is awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP® Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements. CFP® professionals are held to strict ethical standards to ensure financial planning recommendations are in their clients’ best interest.
Phillips has her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a dual major in Accounting and Finance from Grand Valley State University (GVSU), Allendale. She has her Series 66 and Series 7 licenses for securities and holds the Accident & Health license for insurance. Active in her community, Phillips sits on the Lapeer County Center for the Arts Board of Directors and serves as Treasurer.

Konrad Raclawski is promoted to Vice President, Financial Advisor – West Market
Konrad Raclawski joined ChoiceOne in 2016 as a Personal Banker. He was promoted to Assistant Manager for the Sparta and Appletree branches in May 2017 and promptly promoted to Assistant Vice President Branch Manager in July 2017. In 2022, Raclawski was promoted Assistant Vice President, Financial Advisor. Before joining ChoiceOne, Raclawski spent five years in restaurant management.
Raclawski received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. He has his SIE, Series 66, and Series 7 licenses for securities, and holds the Accident & Health, Life, and Annuity licenses for insurance. Raclawski is a graduate of the Michigan Bankers Association Perry School of Banking in Lansing and received the ChoiceOne Bank Circle of Excellence award in 2021 and 2024. Active in his community, Raclawski sits on the Sparta Community Works Board of Directors and The Sparta Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

JoAnne Schultze is promoted to Officer, Risk Management Analyst
JoAnne Schultze joined ChoiceOne in 2020 as HMDA/CRA Compliance Analyst and advanced to her current position as Regulatory Risk Analyst in April 2025. Schultze began her banking profession in 1983 as a Staff Auditor. She progressed in her compliance career working with several community banks over the years. Schultze has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant. She received her CRCM designation (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) through the American Bankers Association. Supporting her community, Schultze is active in her church and volunteers in the activities ChoiceOne supports.

Kevin Smith, Vice President Credit Manager
Kevin Smith joined ChoiceOne in 2021 as a Senior Credit Analyst. He was promoted to Senior Credit Analyst II/Credit Team Lead Officer – West Market in 2024 and Assistant Vice President, Credit Analyst Team Lead – West Market in 2025. Before joining ChoiceOne, Smith worked as Credit Analyst and Senior Credit Analyst for two regional banks in West Michigan. A graduate of Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Smith has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management.

Nicole Smith is promoted to Vice President, Consumer & Residential Mortgage Manager
Nicole Smith started her banking career at ChoiceOne in 2010 as a part-time Teller, earning recognition for exceptional customer service that quickly led to advancement into a Universal Banker role. In 2013, she transitioned into the Special Assets and Loss Mitigation Department as a Collections Analyst, gaining knowledge and experience in foreclosures, repossessions, bankruptcy law, and consumer reporting regulations. Her role continued to expand and by 2015 included residential construction draw processing and all loan servicing functions. In 2017, Smith was promoted into a leadership role to oversee the Loan Servicing Department. She was promoted to Officer in 2020, and Assistant Vice President in 2024.
Smith is a graduate of the Michigan Bankers Association Perry School of Banking in Lansing. Passionate about helping others, she volunteers her time with Habitat for Humanity, Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, and several other local charities that benefit the homeless and food insecure families in the community.

Dave Stahl is promoted to Vice President, Private Banker – East and Central Markets
Dave Stahl joined ChoiceOne in 2023 as Grand Rapids Branch Manager and Officer. Dave has worked for both community and regional banks for nearly twenty years and has leveraged that experience into his Private Bank role. As a Private Banker within ChoiceOne Wealth Management, Dave delivers “white glove” service to high‐net‐worth clients and provides an array of exclusive deposit and lending offerings to clients in both ChoiceOne’s East and Central Michigan markets. Stahl has a Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurship with a minor in Management from Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant. He is also a volunteer with The First Tee, which empowers kids and teens through the game of golf.

Steve Turk is promoted to Vice President, Regional Facilities & Special Projects – East and Central Markets
Steve Turk began his career with ChoiceOne in 2022 as Assistant Vice President, IT Project Manager. He joined ChoiceOne with nearly 20 years of extensive experience in the Information Technology (IT) field, working in the Automobile Industry, and five years in Construction Management. Turk has a Master of Science in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, Flint. Turk remains actively involved in the community, contributing his time and effort to Lapeer Community School athletics, Heritage Church youth and homeless programs, and sponsoring Lapeer Cheerleading and Albion Wrestling.
