ChoiceOne Financial Services, Inc. and ChoiceOne Bank (NASDAQ: COFS) ("ChoiceOne") are pleased to announce the completion of the renovation of its Lapeer Downtown office building. Located at 83 W. Nepessing St., the historic building now features remodeled offices for Wealth Management, the Board of Directors and every employee workspace. The Lapeer Downtown Branch, which reopened in December 2025, is a welcoming, convenient location to do in-person banking.
More than 100 community members, local officials, customers and employees attended the recent grand reopening and ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of the project.

The renovation was made possible through the collaboration of several Michigan companies. Thompson-Phelan Group, Inc. led the planning, design and construction, while Financial Furnishings – Fine Furniture and Interiors, created customized interior spaces that blend the building's historic character with modern functionality.
The celebration also welcomed representatives from the Lapeer Police Department, Lapeer Fire & Rescue, the Downtown Development Authority, the Lapeer Area Chamber of Commerce, the Independent Community Bankers of America Ò, the Community Bankers of Michigan, the Michigan Bankers Association, and the offices of State Sen. Daley and State Rep. Green.
ChoiceOne Bank has served customers from this location since 1902. While the renovation introduces modern technology, updated workspaces and enhanced customer amenities, it also preserves the building's rich history and longstanding connection to the Lapeer community.
