ChoiceOne Bank and Customers Support Grand Blanc Relief Fund Over $10,000 Collected in Donation Drive

ChoiceOne Financial Services, Inc., and ChoiceOne Bank (NASDAQ: COFS) (“ChoiceOne”) are pleased to report that a check for $10,415.92, which included customer donations, was sent to the Grand Blanc Relief Fund to support the victims of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Grand Blanc and the community.

“We were heartbroken when we received the news of the tragedy that deeply impacted the Grand Blanc community on September 28,” said ChoiceOne CEO Kelly Potes. “ChoiceOne Bank has two branches in Grand Blanc and coming together in support of our community is what we do as the community bank. We collected donations throughout October from our customers across Michigan that wanted to support the victims and community in Grand Blanc.  As a company, we wanted to support them as well and matched the donations collected.”

Community Foundation of Greater Flint Senior Program Officer Jennifer Farrington said, “Thank you so much for reaching out and for this incredible news! We’re grateful for ChoiceOne Bank’s generous support and for your successful donation drive. Please extend our sincere thanks to everyone at ChoiceOne Bank and the customers who contributed to this effort.”
