Meet Craig Johnson - Craig joined Choice One in March 2025 as part of the merger with Fentura Financial/The State Bank. Prior to joining Choice Craig severed as the Executive Vice President/Chief Lending Officer and Board of Directors member at The State Bank since December 2011. He has 43 years of banking experience with the last 34 in Executive Management positions with Community Banks in Michigan and Ohio.

Craig is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with majors in Finance and Marketing. He served on the Board of Directors for the Business School at Central and is the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award from the College of Business Administration.

In addition to his service on CMU’s Business School Board, Craig has served on numerous community boards, including Battle Creek Investment Growth Corporation, The Urban League of Southwestern Michigan, Neighborhoods Inc., Fenton United Methodist Church, Silver/Marl Lake Association, as well volunteering for organizations where he works and lives.
